Today, Riot Games and VALORANT announced the Radiant Entertainment System skins. This ambitious and unique line of designs is a love letter to vintage video games and 90s gaming nostalgia, incorporating different themed representations of side-scrolling, dancing and fighting games. Accompanied by custom finishers, music and more, new Radiant Entertainment System skins will be available for the Phantom, Melee, Operator, Ghost and Bulldog, and will contain many small details and surprises.

“We wanted to bring back that happiness we felt when we played video games in the 90s. It’s weird to call them ‘retro’ when we grew up with them, but we hope those who grew up with those games and The new generation of gamers can share in this experience and the joy of playing video games in this decade,” says Stefan Jevremovic, Senior Visual Effects Artist, of the new line of designs.

Episode 6, Act III also introduces a new battle pass, including items such as Vandal Monstrocity, Melee Bound, Guardian Moondash, and Phantom Bound.

Mingxi Zou, the game’s producer, explains about the new battle pass: “To create varied and interesting designs, we drew on a multitude of sources of inspiration to cover a wide range of aesthetics, ranging from chaotic and spooky to colorful and beautiful. We also delved into the cultural mythology and complex stories of VALORANT Agents.”
