Two weeks after Valheim’s Early Access start, the survival title is still one of the most popular games on Steam right now.

A look at the statistics shows that Valheim’s player numbers are on par with the top 5 on the Valve platform.

Now the makers of Iron Gate have revealed more details about the roadmap. Accordingly, fans can look forward to many new updates in the near future.

Update 1 – Hearth and Home

First of all, the development team would like to take care of the house construction with Hearth and Home. In addition to new components, players should also have more options for tasks relating to their own home. Hearth and Home will also focus on preparing meals using other recipes.

Update 2 – Cult of the Wolf

With this update, the Iron Gate team is holding back a bit with information. According to studio co-founder Henrik Törnqvist, however, exploration and combat seem to be the focus. In addition, the maker suggests some new encounters for players.

Update 3 – Ships and the Sea

As the name suggests, the update focuses on ships and the ocean biome of Valheim. Accordingly, players will receive various customization options for their ship. In general, the team would like to give the ocean area a little more life with additional tasks.

Update 4 – Mistlands

This is probably the most extensive update of the current roadmap. Mistlands brings, among other things, a completely new biome into play. Associated with it are other enemies, items, bosses, resources and more. Henrik Törnqvist has also revealed that a total of nine biomes will be available in the final version of Valheim.

All the updates presented to the roadmap are to be published this year. The developers are also currently thinking about mini-bosses that could appear in the game world. You can find more tips and information about Valheim on our topic page.
