We have a solid release date for when we’re scared on Xbox Game Pass! That’s right, Gun Media’s multiplayer adaptation of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre comes to service on the first day August 18, 2023. Hooray!
This latest asymmetrical online effort opts for a 4 vs 3: unlike other similar titles like Dead by Daylight and Gun’s previous multiplayer fear fest, Friday the 13th.
Still, it’s keeping the creeps out, that’s for sure. From what we’ve seen of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre so far, it looks downright terrifying, sticking to the classic visual style of the original film that knows how to turn up the tension.
We hope to see a bit more of the game in action before August as well. A technical test is in progress a few months before the launch, from May 25. The team will bring news on how to access this preview before its release.
