Obsidian Entertainment has announced The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, a greatly improved version of the 2019 RPG. The changes can be seen in the trailer.

If you haven’t played The Outer Worlds (or would like to experience this title after its update), Obsidian Entertainment can encourage you to do so with an enhanced version of the game, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, which It will soon be available for PC and next-gen consoles.

A preview of this updated edition was released today (available below). The developers claim that Spacer’s Choice Edition is “the best way to experience The Outer Worlds”.

What will we find in this version? In the first place all kinds of visual aspects will be improved. The game should run at 4K and stable 60fps on consoles. You will also receive improved textures, additional animations or better volumetric lighting, the overall performance will also be improved.

Additionally, The Outer Worlds should provide even more opportunities to level up the character through the increased level cap.

Unfortunately, the update will not be free. To unlock the upgrade to Spacer’s Choice Edition at a discount (for €7.99), you must own both the base edition of the game and the two paid DLCs: Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos.

The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will start on March 7this year on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG.com), as well as on PS5 and XSX/S.
