the legend of the dragon there savage weapons 2 will be coming to PS Classics later this month. Both of these classic RPGs were released towards the end of the PS1’s lifespan and represent the culmination of game design for this generation. It’s been over a decade since both received a re-release on PSN (which isn’t easy to access these days), and this is the first time they’ve been available for modern consoles.

The Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms 2 will soon be available to all PS Plus Premium subscribers

According to the PlayStation Blog, The Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms 2 will be available as PS Classics for all PS Plus Premium subscribers on February 21. They will launch alongside the other additions to the PS Plus catalog that have just been announced.

While Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms 2 are now considered classics, they didn’t receive a fair reception when they were released. Since these were late releases, they were compared to the PS1’s entire excellent library. It was the heyday of JRPGs when Square released fire every two to three months. The bar was therefore high.

In retrospect, both RPGs are excellent and well worth playing (or replaying) for fans of the genre. You can get them on PS4 and PS5 starting next week.
