The actress who “dressed in the shoes” of Abby in that of The Last of Us: Part IIthe now well-known Laura Bailey took part in a new interview with the newspaper Comic Book Movie so as to talk about her future projects, also sharing her own on this occasion wish regarding the future of the videogame series by Naughty Dog.
In fact, during this chat with the aforementioned online portal, Bailey she stated that she would like to return to interpret the strong and decisive character mentioned above, despite the many criticisms and controversies that she attracted on herself with the second chapter of the series.
Laura Bailey would like to return once again to “play the role” of Abby from The Last of Us
In fact, without making any kind of plot spoiler, the introduction of Abby caused quite a stir in the The Last of Us: Parte IIespecially for a scene that involved a character definitely loved by all the fans of the home videogame series PlayStation.
Despite this fact, however, Laura Bailey she said she would like to go back to interpreting Abby in a third ed hypothetical chapter of the saga, while acknowledging that her character has actually divided fans with the second installment of the series.

“I would definitely go back to interpreting it. I know there has been a lot of drama and reactions to her character, but she has been one of the most influential roles I’ve had in my life. I would 100% go back to playing Abby if the opportunity arises. The series looks fantastic and I can’t wait to see more of it.”
At this point we will see if in the coming months the actress’s desire will actually be fulfilled by Naughty Dog with a spin off or a third installment of The Last of Us.
