Recently released documents from Microsoft regarding the proposed deal with Activision Blizzard have sparked speculation that The Elder Scrolls 6 is out on PS5 it is finally not excluded. The company has never completely denied the possibility of a PS5 release, but it has hinted that The Elder Scrolls 6 could be exclusive to the Xbox console.

Why fans think Microsoft docs may reference The Elder Scrolls 6 PS5

As pointed out Stephen Totilo of AxiosMicrosoft said last week that of the Upcoming ZeniMax games will only be released on Xbox and PC. The statement was made as part of an ongoing case regarding the Activision Blizzard settlement. This is where things get interesting.

In December 2022, Microsoft stated that “three future titles” from ZeniMax would only be released on Xbox and PC. At the time, the general consensus was that the three titles would be The Elder Scrolls 6, Redfall, and Starfield. But between December and today, the only ZeniMax game to be released was Hi-Fi Rush, which suggests it was one of three games.

We’re down to two now. Starfield is certainly an Xbox console exclusive, as is Redfall. That leaves us with The Elder Scrolls 6.

Totilo asked Microsoft for clarification but was declined a comment.
