Bandai Namco has revealed that a Dragon Ball Super card game The closed beta of the digital version is on the way. Registrations are now open on the official website. This announcement appeared during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023 live stream, during which the company shared a preview of the game.

Watch the trailer for the digital version of Dragon Ball Super card game. This digital release will showcase the map designs from the physical game on a 3D battlefield. There will be a character in the game to represent each player. There will also be animations for attacks and cards used.

There will be 12,000 slots available for the Closed Beta. The trial will only be open to users residing in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy.

Only the “free play” game mode will be available during the closed beta. 100 cards will be available for players to create their own decks to play during this version of the game. This testing phase is mainly intended to learn player behavior on the platform, make matchmaking adjustments and test servers for an official release later.

A new slice of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi The fighting game franchise was also announced during the broadcast. Goku Ultra Instinct appeared as a possible new playable character in the official teaser.

He Digital version of the Dragon Ball Super card game the closed beta will be available for PC only from March 25-26, 2023. The deadline to apply for the closed beta will be March 13, 2023.
