There’s a lot Pokémon and Temtem can match, but certainly when it comes to keeping up with user trends, the title of cream games has taken the lead for a long time, and the proof of this is the new 1.3 update which arrives today on the MMORPG, which introduces the modes Nuzlocke, Randomlocke and the way speed run.
If you are a follower of the latest “unofficial” trends from the Game Freak and Nintendo series, you surely know the term Nuzlocke. This is an “artificial” difficulty mode to improve the challenge of games, in which rules are established such as “can only catch X number of creatures per area”, or that if a Temtem is weakened in battle, it must disappear forever in the player’s inventory. With the 1.3 update you can enjoy a new save file with this mode and where you can only catch the first two Temtem that the player sees along the course. Also, if your Temtem gets weak, it will be released after the battle. It must be remembered that the Temtem you catch will not have the ability to reproduce. If you lose the race, all Temtem will be eliminated.
random loop It is similar to Nuzlocke in its rules, but all game variables (from Temtem onwards, which ones can be found/trained in each area, as well as their abilities and items become completely random.
In fashion speed run, the goal is to complete the game as quickly as possible. There will be a timer for the sections, one for each island, and a general timer; always visible. By completing the game in time, the player will receive exclusive rewards.
New congratulations to match
New kudos have been added to core player accounts as additional rewards for completing any or all of the modes listed above. Some Elite Kudos have also been tweaked to make them a bit more accessible and achievable.
New Area: Nanto Labs
In this new location, players will be able to exchange their Lumas for a new currency called Luma Drops. The amount of Luma Drops you will receive for each Luma will depend on the species of Temtem you have. This currency can be used in a new shop to purchase previously unpurchasable items, such as special dyes that were previously in the shop, TemCardX, etc.
Season 3: Clash of Tamers
In addition to the novelties already exposed, this patch introduces the new season dubbed Clash of Tamers. This new season is loaded with new clothes, mounts and a new Battle Pass, Tamer Pass, full of new cosmetic surprises, emotes and new items in the Premium Shop.
Finally, there is also a program special event to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day from today until April 2. And improvements have been made to certain aspects, such as infographics, to balance all the content of the game.
