It had been leaked hours ago and we have been able to see it for the first time at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 Still Wakes The Deep is the new horror game from the creators of Amnesia. The Chinese team returns to bet on dark and oppressive atmospheres, but this time in the middle of the ocean. It will arrive in 2024 on Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC.

In STILL WAKES THE DEEP, you are an offshore oil rig worker fighting for your life through a vicious storm, a dangerous environment and the dark, icy waters of the North Sea. All lines of communication have been cut. All exits are gone. All that remains is to face the unknowable horror that has come aboard. Find your crew and help them survive if you can. A Promising Preview: Still Wakes The Deep Unveils the Dark and Atmospheric Horrors of the Deep Sea
From what we have seen in this first preview of the game, it seems that the team of The Cinesse Room has brought to the table everything that made their previous projects great, such as the dark and suffocating atmosphere of the interior of the oil station, exploring, activating levers, solving some puzzles, and so on. At the moment it is not known what will be the terror that awaits in the middle of the sea, but we will have to follow closely this project that, as seen in the gameplay trailer, has an impressive graphics.
Xbox’s 2024 is starting to take shape with this and other third-party games like Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. In terms of exclusives, Xbox has games like Hellblade II and Avowed, from Ninja Theory and Obsidian Entertinment, in 2024. We will have to wait a little longer for Fable, South of Midnight and Clockwork Revolution.
