The new bridges in PUBG are supposed to make life more difficult for the infamous bridge trolls.

The big hype about Playerunknown’s Battleground seemed to be long gone. The Battle Royale, which was published at the end of 2017, had over 3 million Steam players at the same time when it was released, but only around ten percent of them are now left – many players switched to beginner-friendly alternatives such as Fortnite, Apex Legends or Call of Duty: Warzone.

Nevertheless, PUBG is now making it to the top of the Steam Charts again – why is it?

That’s why PUBG is currently a bestseller again

Last Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the Battle Royale veteran received an extensive update with Patch 11.2. You can find the full patch notes on Steam, we explain the most important changes here:

That recently changed in PUBG: The big update brought some small and big changes. The notorious bridges on Erangel, the very first map in the game, have been significantly changed. The bridges have been widened slightly, the cover layout has been changed slightly and there are now new catwalks on the sides. So players without a vehicle should have more options to get safely from one side to the other.

Season Pass: There is also a new “Survivor Pass” that allows players to unlock numerous new outfits. This time everything is under the motto pajama party – in the trailer you can see the nightgowns and pajamas that can be unlocked with them:

Respawn Royale: Last but not least, the developers have released a new game mode. In Respawn Royale, every shot is fatal, but death is not final – as long as your squad has not been completely wiped out, fallen players can get back in after a while and continue the fight.

Sale: With the release of Patch 11.2, a sale started in which PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is currently cheaper than ever before. For 15 euros you can currently strike here, many new players have already done it, as the top position in the current Steam Charts shows.

Incidentally, the development of PUBG 2 should already be in full swing. We have collected all the information for you in the following article:
