STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be presented by Nvidia and GSC Game World at GDC 2023. CD Projekt Red also announced numerous panels.

This year’s edition of the Game Developers Conference could be interesting for Central European gamers. The event will feature, among others. GSC Game World with an “exclusive screening” of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl.

The presentation will be part of a panel prepared by the developer in collaboration with Nvidia. The theme will be the use of Omniverse Audio2Face technology, an artificial intelligence algorithm that generates sound-based facial animations. The entire event will be hosted by GSC Game World Host Anton Riabchuk.

CD Projekt will also be making an appearance at GDC 2023

The CD Projekt group will make their presence felt strongly at the conference in March. Officially, there was no mention of “exclusive” game shows, which isn’t surprising. Most of the projects announced by the Polish developer are expected to be at an early stage of construction.

Of course, one can be fooled into thinking that studio employees will reveal something else because of one of ten CD Projekt Red panels, taking place at GDC 2023 from March 21-24. Some of them will be devoted to various aspects of Cyberpunk 2077, whether it’s the technical aspects (including the “construction” and sound design in Night City and the localization), or the story (including the design of the mission and the “three musketeers” of the narrative in C2077).

However, it is better for your expectations of these panels in check. They’ll all focus on topics of interest to developers, and at most we’re unlikely to see anything of interest to the average gamer. You can find the full GDC 2023 schedule (as of March 20) on the official website.

He started out with platform games, which he still loves (including metroidvania), but he also enjoys card games (including “analog” games), fighting games, soul games and practically any other type of game. Don’t ask about the graphics: after a few hours of exposure, you can revel in pixelated game characters reminiscent of the Game Boy era (if not older).
