Nintendo has announced an Expansion Pass for Splatoon 3. Paid DLC will arrive in two phases: Inkopolis in the spring and Side Order later.
According to Nintendo, the first expansion will allow players “reviving a working version of Inkopolis from the original Splatoon”while Side Order will include “an all-new single-player campaign.”
“The first wave includes Inkopolis. You can make this splat-tastic location from the original Splatoon game your territory. Wave 1 also includes Inkopolis Plaza, which has changed in recent years with new merchants. The Squid Sisters will also perform here during Splatfests.
“In the second wave of this DLC, a new single-player campaign called Side Order super jumps to Splatoon 3. Find out what happened to Inkopolis Plaza, the hub area featured in Splatoon 2.”
The Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass is available for pre-order starting yesterday. Players who purchase it will gain access to additional in-game currency, as well as food and drink tickets.
Splatoon 3 received a big update last month focusing on combat tweaks and changes to the game’s multiplayer modes.
The game’s expansion pass was announced on Wednesday during a Nintendo Direct.
