Wooden Alien is working on Space Prison, a tactical survival game set in a space prison.
Polish studio Wooden Alien has released the first trailer for its debut project, a Space Prison tactical survival game.
- The game targets PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
- The PC version will be sold on Steam.
- As of now, the developers aren’t ready to provide a specific release date.

The action of the game will take place aboard the AI-run high-security space prison of the same name. Players will control one of the prisoners, who will try to escape from this place.
During the game we will develop relationships with other characters and gangs, slowly climbing the social ladder of the prison. There will be many playable Convicts to choose from and each should have different abilities, weapons, and gear, all of which can be upgraded.
Battles will take place on a turn-based system. The collection of resources and their use in the crafting system will have an important role, which will allow, among other things, to create new objects and improve our cell.
Wooden Alien, the team behind the game, is a development studio based in Krakow. They were founded by veterans of the Polish gaming industry, who have already worked on projects like The Witcher 3 or Dying Light 2.
