The golf ball that decided Tiger Woods’ victory in the 1997 Masters tournament was auctioned off and sold for a whopping $64,124, according to Reuters.

Woods gave the ball to a young fan, Julian Nexsen. After more than twenty years of holding onto the ball, Nexsen put it up for auction on March 27, with a bid of $500.

The 1997 Masters ball may have fetched such a high price because it was the first of Woods’ 15 major tournament wins. Only 21 at the time, Woods won the tournament by a record 12 stroke margin and became the youngest golfer to win at Augusta National.
