Ukrainian studio Frogwares has announced a new release date for the new version of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. The game will be available in three editions, and pre-orders are now available on select digital platforms.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened was originally slated for release in late February or early March, but developers at Frogwares recently reported that they had to postpone it until April due to difficulties posed by the war in Ukraine. Now the studio has confirmed that the game has gone gold. This means the work is done and the team is focused on fine-tuning and optimizing the game for future updates. In connection with this, a trailer appeared on the official website, accompanied by a new release date: April 11..

Along with the release date announcement, Frogwares unveiled three editions of the game, which will be available for purchase from launch day.. On Steam, the Standard Edition is $39.99, the Deluxe Edition with extra missions and six exclusive outfits is $49.99, and the Premium Edition, available only on PC, is priced at $54.99 $; in addition to the extras of the Deluxe version, it includes a digital art book and a soundtrack.

Frogwares has also launched pre-orders for the game on all digital platforms. (not including the Nintendo Store, where, at the time of writing, the game cannot be purchased). Anyone who decides to pre-order the game will receive three additional custom outfits for Holmes and Watson.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch consoles, as well as PC.
