DHAKA, Bangladesh – An explosion at a seven-story commercial building in the Bangladeshi capital on Tuesday killed at least 14 people and injured dozens, authorities said.
The blast happened in Gulistan, a busy commercial area in Dhaka, but there were no further details so far, said Rashed bin Khaled, a fire official.
At the moment, the cause of the inflation was unknown.
Bacchu Mia, an official at Daca Collegiate Medical Hospital, said more than 50 people had been admitted for treatment and at least 14 of them had died.
