Joan Namay’hocks‘, the Spanish benchmark for fighting games, finished fourth in the final of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour in Las Vegas, the tournament organized by Bandai which brought together the 20 best players in the world.

And although the fourth place is already commendable, the truth is that it could have been much more, since in his last match against the Frenchman Kayne he had a problem with the command which cost him the victory.

“I think fourth place is very good. Maybe we could have done more because I felt very good and I was playing comfortable, but to be fourth in the World Cup final is a good result,” said Shanks, who competed with an integrated formation of Cell, Vegeta and Janemba and emerged first in their group without dropping a set.

“I was trying out a new controller and I felt very comfortable, I really liked how I played. Against Kayne, I started to like it, but in the second game, unfortunately, I had a problem with the controller, there was a desynchronization, maybe I hit it without envy… Still, fourth place is very good,” said Shanks.

It was only the first official tournament date for Shanks in 2023, so he still has plenty of opportunities to continue making history.
