Among the large manufacturing companies, the one in which the genre of board games has developed the most is undoubtedly Nintendo. Its Mario Party series is the best example of this, but there are other titles that over the years have brought friends and family together around the couch and the TV for a fun night out, and one of them was Samba de Amigo, originally created by Sonic Team for the Dreamcast in 2000, and which in 2008 made its own foray into the Wii.

We haven’t heard from her since then, but tonight at the Nintendo Direct she’s resurrected before everyone’s eyes with Samba de Amigo Party Central, a new episode exclusive for Nintendo Switch. We will be able to play it with up to seven other friends in local games or in online mode, and we will be able to customize our avatar with all kinds of costumes and accessories. The title will come next June 30th.
