The mode “The Mercenaries”

Capcom even allows itself some adjustments with the addition of the merchant between two zones which allows Ethan Winters to modify his equipment, improve his weapons, and even obtain new skills, just to be always more formidable in combat. .

Resident Evil 4 en VR

Survival-Horror, and more particularly in first person, is one of the genres that lends itself best to the exercise of virtual reality. Resident Evil VII: Biohazard was Capcom’s first attempt in this area, and the result lived up to the hopes placed in VR at the time. The immersive power of horror combined with that of the PlayStation headset shed new light on the saga. Capcom is aware of this, and this is why the Japanese publisher is partnering with Oculus Studios and Armature Studios to transform a cult work that changed in its time the vision of Survival-Horror and even TPS. The aforementioned studios are currently wearing Resident Evil 4 on the Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headset which implies a first person point of view, and therefore an ever more immersive experience. More information is expected to be shared on this project during the Oculus Gaming Showcase on April 21, 2021.

It involves Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield during the invasion of the White House by bilogical weapons, and takes place two years after the events of Resident Evil 4.
