Resident Evil 8 Village players will have access to a new patch. As Capcom announces on its website, update 1.002.000 for PlayStation 5 is available. A separate download is not required. The update will be applied automatically as soon as you start Resident Evil Village online.
The developers also name the patch notes on their website – and thus address the changes. The update does not bring many new features. Rather, a bug in Resident Evil.net is in the foreground.
As can be seen from the patch notes, the update fixes an issue that prevented data uploaded from the PS5 version from being displayed properly in Resident Evil.net.
“This patch is aimed at Resident Evil.net users who play Resident Evil 8 Village Play on PS5,” writes Capcom. The exception is the version for North America, where this error does not appear to occur.
You can find out whether you have installed the 1.002.000 update for Resident Evil Village by first selecting the game on the PS5 home screen and then pressing the option button.
