It’s hard to believe we’re almost done with the first quarter of the year! Things are changing fast in the Web3 gaming space, and we’re here to take a look at some games to watch in March 2023!
New releases, new wallets, new mobile apps, new tokens and even brand new games! The game to gain space and community continues to grow and expand. And today we have a selection of games you might want to see in the months to come!
first person shooter games
FPS games fit right into the web3 space and the competition is heating up fast! Undead Blocks just launched its daily play and earn feature, ev.io is adding the first step towards a crafting system, and we have betas, alphas, and updates for all sorts of other games like Mini -Royale FORA, Metalands, Project Red, Forge: Arena, to name a few!
And best of all, most of these games are free or have free options!

The Illuvium development team now has four games running and accessible, with concurrent development on all of them! Illuvium Beyond is expected to open in just a few days. Meanwhile, Illuvium Zero, Illuvium Overworld, and Illuvium Arena are in various alpha and beta tests. It looks like Illuvium is about to connect everything and suddenly release an entire gaming ecosystem to the public! It probably won’t happen in March, but Illuvium is always one to watch!
X immutable
Already a big player in web3 gaming, Immutable continues to grow and recently added ChainMonsters to its portfolio. Additionally, they recently announced plans for their Immutable Passport, a transparent wallet and login experience for use by all developers in the Immutable ecosystem. Finding ways to bring more traditional gamers into the web3 space is an ongoing effort among many games and blockchain applications. And those who can do the best job will certainly have an advantage in the future. Immutable is in a privileged position to be one of the leaders!

The buzz around Gods Unchained has started to grow again as they move into pre-alpha testing for their mobile app. Mobile gaming is another great facet for gamers and a great opportunity to grow the player base. With an established system of daily play options and payouts, as well as official tournaments every weekend and a large NFT marketplace available, Gods Unchained has a solid foundation to grow from. A playable mobile version could be a big boost for the game!

forged vulcan
forged vulcan made a big step recently. They migrated LAVA, the native token of their ecosystem, to their Elysium blockchain and limited the number of existing tokens. They are already building a diverse ecosystem on Elysium with their own DEX, marketplace, and growing selection of games, including Vulcan Verse, a 3D MMO.
Taking steps to focus on their token and make their ongoing ecosystem and in-game economy sustainable is a good team call. While swapping a token can be a painful transition, taking the time to go back and fix an important ecosystem foundation is a sign of maturity on the part of the Vulcan Forged team, and I can’t wait to see what they bring us next!
