A “new” feature has been added to Pharaoh: A New Era, but the latest update also introduced a number of other significant changes.

As I promised a new update has been released for Pharaoh: A New Era introduce a feature, that players have been asking for since the release of this new version. This is the addition of a mini-map in the lower left corner of the screen.

The list of changes does not end with this “new”, although the following items are related to it in some way. The developers added buttons for two functions to the minimap: “flatten” the map and display a grid of fields. Both options were available at launch, but only as hotkeys.

Triskell Interactive also presented The balance of the game changes. Hunters have been hit hard. Because not only does animal hunting appear much less frequently on the map, but hunters are not allowed to bring back more than ten pelts from each outing. During the game we will not encounter as many criminals as before.

Additionally, the developer has supported two mechanics. From here forward It will be harder to get divine helpand also we will have to wait a bit before we can get more blessings. The subjects’ mood system was also reconstructed. to make it easier for players to discern the causes of discontent and prevent rebellions.

In addition to the above changes, we have minor fixes related to UI, hotkey, tutorial, etc., and a large number of bugfixes. The full list of changes can be found in the developer announcement on Steam.

He started his adventure with GlobeLiveMedia in 2015, writing in the editorial department, then also covering movies and oh, horror! – technology (also a contributor to the Games Encyclopedia). He started with platform games, which he still loves (including metroidvania), but he also likes card games (including “analog” games), fighting games, soul games and virtually any other kind of game. Don’t ask about the graphics: after a few hours of exposure, you can revel in pixelated game characters reminiscent of the days of the Game Boy era (if not older).
