No Man's Sky: Update 3.40

No Man’s Sky: Update 3.40 is here – New Beachhead expedition with surprises

Hello Games releases No Man’s Sky update 3.40. The new patch is available for download on PC and consoles. The developers share the patch notes on their website – and thus the individual changes and innovations. The focus is on the start of the second expedition “Beachhead”.

“We hope you are happy about the surprises that the expedition has in store”, the developers say in the changelog, without going into detail. Players start again with a new save on the same planet. A different pace and a different structure compared to the first expedition “Pioneer” are promised.

In addition to “Beachhead”, No Man’s Sky Update 3.40 also contains additional bug fixes and optimizations. Among other things, the developers have fixed the causes of crashes in connection with the surrounding tessellation. In addition, from now on there should no longer be a crash when storing basic data.

Especially on Xbox, there have recently been occasional crashes in memory management: this error should also be a thing of the past with the new patch.

The full patch notes with all details about the changes and innovations can be found on the website for the space sandbox. As usual, we will keep you up to date in our news area. No Man’s Sky is available in stores on PC and consoles.
