No lights, no fuss for CS:GO teams at IEM Rio

In a rather unusual turn of events, a match at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023 was played in total darkness as a lighting outage plunged the arena into darkness.

It was the game between Heroic and TheMongolZ where the problem occurred, and surprisingly, and showing the professional quality of the players, nobody seemed to blink an eye on the problem, and continued playing.

You can see just how dark the arena has gotten in some footage shared to HLTV’s Twitter below.

As for what happened in the game, all things considered, Heroic ended up defeating TheMongolZ 2-1, which means they will face Ninjas in Pajamas in the next lower game.
