These have been the most prominent announcements of the presentation.
– Bayonetta 3 | The Umbra Witch is back! We see a new repertoire of abilities tied to the summoning of giant monsters. Dragons, giant birds, spiders … everything. It will arrive sometime in 2022.
– Nintendo Switch Online | The subscription will add an “expansion pack” that will include a selection of Nintendo 64 and SEGA Megadrive games. It will arrive at the end of October; however, it will be in the weeks prior to your arrival when we know the price and the final date. In addition, wireless controls for both consoles will be sold to subscribers at a price of 49.99 euros.
– Kirby and the Forgotten Land | New installment of the pink character that will take you to explore 3D environments with complete freedom. We see stretches of the sea, platforms, little puzzles … The journey will take you through “the remains of a forgotten civilization”. It will arrive in spring 2022.
– Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak | The Capcom title will receive a content expansion in Summer 2022. More details will be shared in the coming months.
– Triangle Strategy | The creators of Octopath Traveler will take us to a new 2D pixel art universe, only now we will change the RPG for the structure of the tactics. It will arrive on March 4, 2022.
– Splatoon 3 | New material from the painting shooter appears. No date has been shared, although its creators urge us to know “very soon” news.
– Super Smash. Bros Ultimate | On October 5, the last presentation of the character will be held, which will close the cycle of additional content.
– Mario movie | On December 21 in the United States the Mario movie will be released, Chris Pratt will play Mario, while Ana Taylor-Joy will do the same with Princess Peache. Jack Black will be Bowser.
First details of the Nintendo Direct
Nintendo has stressed that the broadcast will take at least 40 minutes , “mainly dedicated to Nintendo Switch games that will be available this winter. That “mainly” tells us that it will not only be focused on this specific framework, but that we will also see a little look beyond it.
