This weekend the Splatoon 3: Splatfest World Premiere took place, an event that allowed all Nintendo Switch Online users to try the long-awaited hybrid console game for the first time. However, it seems that there were some flaws in the matchmaking of the games and those responsible spoke about it.

As you probably know, Splatoon 3 will arrive next month on the Nintendo Switch, and its developers continue to polish each of its details so that it is ready once its release date is given.

It is because of this that last Saturday, August 27, all those interested in the game were able to try it for free in a new Splatfest. However, some users complained of experiencing matchmaking issues, prompting Nintendo to respond to calm the waters.

“Thank you very much for participating in Splatoon 3: Splatfest. We will continue to improve the matchmaking mechanics and tricolor battles even after launch. Thank you for your continued support of the Splatoon series,” the message reads.

As you could see, it seems that Nintendo is aware of the problems that occurred in the event and everything indicates that it is already working on them, in addition to the fact that it plans to continue doing so even after the launch of the game.

Now, it only remains to wait until next September 9 to find out if the company manages to create an experience that is enjoyable for the most demanding gamers.
