What are the most played classes in Diablo IV?

With over 5,000 votes in the poll, it’s no surprise that the Druid and Necromancer classes are leading the charge with 1.2k and 1.1k votes respectively. Meanwhile, the witch appears to be hanging out with a respectable 900 votes. But why do these classes capture the hearts of so many players? Let’s find out.

1: Sorcerer

The early game progression and wizard power are solid, so you won’t feel like a mortal for long. And when it comes to fun, the cool animations and combos will make you feel like a true spell master. But where Sorcerers really shines is in the build diversity. With enchantment slots creating crazy combos, you can mix and match as you please. Just be prepared to put in the effort; mastering the timing and correctly combining all the available tools is essential to success. When it comes to mobility, the ability to teleport is a blessing. And in a group, you’ll be able to freeze, stun, and damage your enemies, making you a valuable member of the team.

2: Necromancer

Step into the shoes of a necromancer in Diablo IV and you’ll find that the beginning of the game revolves around one thing: Skellies. But with solid abilities and the ability to deal free damage with Corpse Explosion, the Necromancer is far from boring. However, the Necromancer fails to have fun and create diversity. It’s a slow class with little room for creativity, especially when it comes to dropping minions or corpses. But, on the plus side, the Necromancer is an easy class to play, with pets that can handle the load and simple builds.

When it comes to mobility, the Necromancer is in the same boat as the Sorcerer, with the only “mobility” ability, Blood Mist, slowing you down. But never fear, because Decrepify’s group utility is solid, making it a valuable addition to any party. So if you’re looking for a course to raise the dead and blow up corpses, Necromancer is the way to go.

3: Druid

Unleash your nature-loving, nuke-launching, shape-shifting druid in Diablo IV. Don’t be put off by the weak early game sauce, low resources and low damage, because the legendary synergies will make you a powerhouse. And with endless combinations of shapeshifts and items, the build diversity is where Druid really shines. Plus, they’re reservoirs, so smoothness won’t be an issue. When it comes to mobility, you don’t have many options, but some builds, like the wolf, can be fast. In a group, you’ll be a god of utility. And for expert players, the druid has more defense than a castle.
