Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Reloaded is imminent, but what can it hold for us?
Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is now underway. There’s still plenty to release for mid-season, but when will it arrive? In this article, we give you a brief overview of everything that is planned for Season 2 of Reloaded.
When will Season 2 Reloaded be released for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2?
Although the developers have not yet communicated on this subject, the various specialized media agree that season 2 of Reloaded will arrive on March 15, 2023 around 6:00 p.m. (Paris time).
A season’s recharge occurs in the middle of the season. So based on the remaining time of Season 2, March 15 seems to be the most favorable date for its publication..
New to Warzone 2?
For Warzone 2, the mid-season will bring a lot. We think in particular of the arrival of a new sniper rifle, the “Torrent time”. Its arrival will be celebrated with great fanfare, as a new game mode will appear for Warzone: just a Sniper mode.
Ashika Island will also have a great novelty: redeployment drones. These new drones are the high-tech successors to the Redeployment Balloons you first used in Caldera. They have a few differences from Redeploy Balloons, including the ability to move to a safe area after a short time if in a tight circle. Only a certain number of drones will reposition each nearby circle, and all drones will deactivate after multiple circles collapse.
But that’s not all, because a new world event will appear: Data theft. When the second circle closes, three liaison posts around the map will become operational, allowing players to download vital information. In exchange for valuable in-game rewards, squads can hack the Link Post and stay nearby to gain this information, but will face resistance from Shadow Company fighters protecting these valuable machines. Completing a download rewards you with XP, Cash, and random Tactical Gear.
And finally, Resurgence mode will finally be able to adapt to all squad sizes. The developers have confirmed featuring solos, duets, trios and quartets for this mode. Also note that an event is brewing, but little information has been given yet. Thus, we will have to be patient to know what sauce we are going to feed our opponents.
What awaits us in Season 2 of Multiplayer Reloaded?
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 players will also have their share of new features. In the first place, Raid Episode 2 will arrive. It is a sequel to the Modern Warfare 2 campaign that will feature Price, Farah, and Gaz. Of course, new game modes will see the light of day, to the delight of players. You will also be able to obtain the new “Tempus Torrent” sniper rifle, which will likely be available through challenges.
Just like in Warzone 2, a mysterious event is coming. But again, no information has yet been found.
