Mini decided that as cars become more and more technologically advanced, there’s no better time to launch a Clippy-like character. As revealed in a new press release ahead of Mini’s appearance at the Shanghai Auto 2023 event, the automaker revealed that it will be bringing Spike to future cars.
This character is said to be inspired by a British bulldog and will serve as a personal assistant for car owners, providing assistance as users become familiar with all the features modern Minis have to offer.
We are also told that Spike”will appear as an active protagonist in the cockpit of the new MINI Concept Aceman” and which will be presented to the public on the new car’s central display and OLED dashboard.
More information on what Spike can bring to the table will be shared throughout 2023.
