But how do you enter Minecraft commands? Luckily, the Minecraft console controls are wonderfully easy to use. they are as simple as entering minecraft seeds. When creating a new Minecraft world, you will be asked to choose whether or not to allow cheaters. After selecting yes and loading the world, you will need to press the “C” key to bring up the command bar, where you will enter all your cheats and commands.

Minecraft Console Commands and Tips

Here are all the Minecraft console commands you can use to instantly change the game:

  • Target selector shortcuts: Target selector variables define a specific target without typing its full name. Above are the five different shorthand commands. You’ll get used to seeing them when you play on the best Minecraft servers.
    • @p – nearest player
    • @r – random player
    • @to all players
    • @e – all entities
    • @s: the entity executing the command
  • Aid /help (CommandName) (provides more information about the given command).
  • But/but (Amount) (used to give another player an item from their inventory. Example: /give – Game News minecraft:planks 13. This would give – Game News 13 spruce planks. This command is much simpler when giving individual items but is useful for stackable objects).
  • Teleport/tp (target drive) xyz (Used to transport yourself or another player to any specific location instantly. Typing another player’s name instead of coordinates will transport the target directly to said player’s location. You can also teleport to a new world with the best Minecraft maps).
  • matar/matar (this code instantly kills your character; adding another player’s name will apply the command to them).
  • Climate/Time Time type (lets you choose the weather or your world. Your weather options include rain, thunder, and snow)

  • creative way/creative game mode (changes the game mode to creative mode, which allows the player to fly, unlimited resources, and prevents mobs from attacking you.)
  • survival mode/survival in game mode (changes the game mode to Survival mode, which means mobs will attack you and you have to gather all the resources the old fashioned way).
  • set the time/set time 1000 (Sets the time of day. Replace “1000” with “0” for sunrise, “6000” for noon, “12000” for sunset, and “18000” for night.)
  • Change difficulty to Peaceful / peaceful difficulties (Changes difficulty to Peaceful mode. Change “peaceful” to “easy”, “normal” or “hard” for more challenge.)
  • How to find the starting code of your world/seed (this will produce a code for your world, write it down so you can upload a similar one in the future).
  • Keep an inventory when you die /gamerule keeps inventory true (Ensures you don’t lose your items on death. To reverse this, type “false” instead of “true”).
  • For now/gamerule doDaylightCycle false (This will stop the game’s day/light cycle, allowing you to live under permanent sunlight or moonlight. To resume the day/light cycle, type /gamerule doDaylightCycle true).
  • gather /gather (Instantly drops a desired creature or object into your world, especially useful when you’re low on a few tamed ocelots.)
  • Atlantis Fashion /atlantis (significantly raises the water level of the world, submerging all but the highest mountains).
  • Conduct /conduct (Transforms the creature you are facing into a mount.)
  • instant lead /instant mine (one-click extraction with any tool).

  • Freeze/freeze (stops monsters in their tracks).
  • fall damage /fall damage (toggles fall damage on and off).
  • Fire damage – /fire damage (toggles fire damage on and off).
  • Water damage /water damage (toggles water damage on and off).
  • cast element /supercalentar (Converts all objects to their molten form.
  • instant plant /instant plant (no more waiting for a planted seed to grow).
  • store items/dropstore (Store all inventory items in a chest, which spawns nearby.)
  • damage to object /damaged item (Weapons no longer take damage or degrade.)
  • Double /double (copy and drop the stack of items you have equipped).

How to enter minecraft console commands

You will need to prefix any command you enter in solo mode with a forward slash (/); multiplayer commands will not work with this prefix. Now it’s just a simple case of typing the desired command and hitting the “Enter” key.
