Microsoft President Brad Smith announced this morning that Microsoft has entered into a binding 10-year legal agreement with Nintendo to bring Obligation to the platform with full functionality and content parity after the Activision Blizzard acquisition, and its wording seems to suggest it could go beyond Call of Duty as well.

As you can see in Smith’s comments, mention that you are “contracted by Xbox games and Nintendo games”, pero read the statement real dentro del tweet solo mention Call of Duty, por lo que hay un poco de confusión Right now.

In December 2022, Microsoft announced that it had made a 10-year “commitment” to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo in the future, but this appears to be the first time that commitment has become legally binding.

This statement from Brad Smith came on the same day that Microsoft is due to attend an important European Commission hearing, so it’s probably no coincidence! In other words, we may have more news to report later this week…
