Social media and virtual reality giant Meta (Facebook), amid rumors of its Metaverse being canceled, has announced a Meta Quest Gaming Showcase for June 1. The pre-recorded show will stream live on Twitch, YouTube, and Meta Horizon Worlds.
It’s unclear which games will be featured at the time of this writing, although some are hoping to see Ghostbusters VR and updates for hit games like the everlasting Beat Saber. Something that shouldn’t be shown is a new standalone VR headset to replace the relatively outdated Meta Quest 2, as it’s likely to be saved for a more hardware-focused event.
