Making-of Ghost ‘n Goblins Resurrection: developers reconsider their intentions

Announced during the Game Awards 2020 ceremony, the Ghost ‘n Goblins reboot is talking about him again a little over a month after its release. The opportunity for the producers of the title to share their inspirations and ideas for this new title.

In this first dev diary dedicated to Ghost ‘n Goblins Resurrection, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, Chief Producer on the game, and Pete Fabiano, Producer, announce that this reboot episode produced to mark the 35th anniversary of Ghosts’n Goblins will be produced in collaboration with Tokuro Fujiwara, the director of the previous games in the series and now CEO of Whoopee Camp.

In addition, if this new episode will multiply the tributes to the original episodes, as much to Ghost ‘n Ghoblins as to Ghouls’ n Ghosts, the producers also insist that the series’ legendary yet satisfying difficulty will return as well. However, since it is a reboot, the title will include many new features such as platform phases and additional interactions for the forest level or bosses whose patterns will be modified to surprise the veterans of the series.

Ghost ‘n Goblins Resurrection is scheduled for February 25 on Switch.
