Square-Enix confirmed via trailer that Live a Live will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam soon April 27. Originally released exclusively for Nintendo Switch last year, this remake has been updated for these platforms using HD-2D technology, keeping the pixel art style and combining it with modern graphics.

Along with the announcement, it has also been confirmed that a demo will be available for free download from PlayStation Store and Steam. In this trial version, you will be able to play the first parts of three of the game’s eight stories: The Wild West, the twilight of the Edo period and the distant future. Once the trial is complete, all progress made can be transferred to the full title in a save file.

Pre-orders for the game are open from today on PlayStation Store and Steam. PlayStation Plus subscribed players will get a 20% discount if the game is pre-ordered before release. In the case of Steam, the discount will be available until May 11.
