Without notice, IGN has unveiled a new gameplay trailer that showcases new gameplay footage for Lies of P.
While a large number of players have successfully become Lord of Elden, announcements have appeared with many upcoming soul-likes, including p lies. The latter is very low key, but a new gameplay video surfaced last night.
Once our epic in the Elden Ring is over, we have this crazy desire to receive a small visit from the Men in Black agents equipped with their Neuralyzer to simply forget our adventure. Not because it was boring, but simply to relive the grandeur that Entre-Terre has to offer.
Except that it is only fiction, so it will simply be impossible to relive our Blood-Shard adventure. Afterwards, we try to find other souls who can bring us the same satisfaction that we have been able to discover in the latest news from FromSoftware. And, Lies of P seems to be the key.
Lies of P o Pinocho Strikes Back
For those who noticed Lies of P is inspired by the short story by Carlo Collodi, The Adventures of Pinocchio, to create your own story. Thus, in a gothic and somewhat industrial universe, you will embody a mechanical doll in a city dominated by madness and murderous impulses. Once beautiful, the city is turned upside down and your mission will be to find Geppetto. No one can become your ally except lies.
Unlike the tale of Pinocchio, it is positive to lie and especially not to trust anyone. Your journey will be alone against all, at least if we omit Jiminy Cricket who seems to be hiding in a small vial.
The new gameplay trailer offered by IGN does not offer any major novelties. Like Steelrising, players will find themselves immersed in a seedy universe filled with offensive mechanical dolls. Watching this gameplay trailer, we feel some similarities with Yharnam from Bloodborneprobably because of the gothic architecture of the place.
Your character will be able to take advantage of numerous upgrades, also known as weapons. We can notice the classic pattern of souls: heavy weapons, fast weapons and ranged weapons. We do not know if the magic will be present. We can also alert to the presence of a fairly complete arsenal. At least, from what we can see right now. Parries and counter-perfects will also be in the game, which will bring more satisfaction in the fights.
Those who enjoyed item management in Steelrising will certainly find themselves in Lies of P. As evidenced by the gameplay trailer, it looks like objects can be infused in our automaton to possibly inflict a lot more damage. The magic may be in this mechanism, who knows. Therefore, some opponents may be much more susceptible to certain types of elements than others.
Unfortunately, Steelrising was released shortly after the announcement of Lies of Pwe can therefore notice similarities between these two games: the incarnation of an automaton to reach our end, in a world bruised by mechanical dolls dangerous for humanity.
However, the black point of Steelrising lies in its history which would have deserved a little more depth, therefore we hope Lies of P will keep players on their toes with a clever adaptation of a story known to all. However, We will have to wait for a release date.because the game still lacks it.
