Here we list the mods that will allow you to bring more Harry Potter to the Hogwarts Legacy experience. After a long wait, the game finally allowed us to get this dream letter from Hogwarts!
Hogwarts Legacy it is a great success. Over 12 million copies have been sold so far and you can expect that number to increase every week for some time. This should come as no surprise to anyone, because who, after reading a Harry Potter book, he did not want to become a wizard and wander the lands of the most famous school of witchcraft and sorcery.
Unfortunately, the action of the game takes place several years before the books. This means that during the game we do not come across any familiar faces (with one small exception). Fortunately, mods come to the rescue: some of them bring familiar elements from the series to our television and computer screens. In this article, we list the changes that allow us to to do Hogwarts Legacy more like the Harry Potter we know!
How to install mods?
Before we get to the list of our favorite mods, let’s take a quick look at how to install them. It is not a difficult task if you follow the instructions below.
- Check the Nexus Mods website, it has a dedicated Hogwarts Legacy hub;
- Select the mod you want to install;
- Read the mod’s instructions. Some of them require additional steps!
- Select the “Files” tab then the “Manual download” option;
- Unzip the downloaded file;
- Copy its contents to the game folder. The default path is “C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonHogwarts LegacyPhoenixContentPaks”;
- Restart the game and you should be good to go.

The first category of mods I review change the voice of the character when casting a spell. Who wouldn’t want their hero to say “Expelliarmus” the same way Severus Snape did when dueling Gilderoy Lockhart? Or Hermione Granger teaching Ron Weasley how to pronounce Wingardium Leviosa correctly? If those details and memories are on your mind, there’s sure to be something here for you. Among other things, we also found a mod that lets you say the Unforgivable Curses with the voice of Lord Voldemort himself.

The Unforgivable Curses of Mad-Eye Moody
If you’ve ever wanted to take part in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class that Harry Potter and his friends attended during their fourth year at Hogwarts, check out this mod. Now Cruciatus, Imperius and Avada Kedavra spells will be cast with the voice of Alastor Moody.

The voice of Severus Snape

All thanks to this modification, which replaces the original sound of Adava Kedavra with the voice of Severus Snape. That’s not all: Expeliarmus also replaced the voice of the cast, recreating the famous cast of fate on the unsuspecting Gilderoy Lockhart.
Hermione Granger spells the voice
“It’s Leviosa, not Leviosaaaa!” With this change, not only will you be able to help some struggling students figure out how to say the spell, but you’ll be doing it in the voice of Hermione Granger herself.

The most powerful wizard in the Harry Potter universe has finally arrived at Hogwarts Legacy. If after eight parts of the books/movies your favorite character is still Voldemort, then these two mods are for you. They change the casting voice of Avada Kedavra and Cruciatus to none other than Lord Voldemort himself.
