This weekend was celebrated in Japan on EVO Japan, the nation’s largest fighting game competition. A showcase where the studios also take the opportunity to present the news of the titles already on sale, new expansions or announcements with the games that will arrive in the future, as we told you about the two new characters of Tekken 8.

In this case, it’s SNK’s turn to come up with new content for King of Fighters XV, and they did so by announcing that tomorrow, April 4th, a new playable character will arrive: Kim Kaphwan. The inseparable companion of Terry Bogard and the taekwondo champion joins the KoF XV roster.

As you can see, Kim Kaphwan isn’t the only novelty for the fighter title, as he also confirmed which two fighters will be arriving this summer: Sylvie Paula Paula there Goenitz (which they will also do as free DLC), and Najd (which will be paid, as part of the Fighter Pass).

Lots of news for a King of Fighters XV that still has a lot of life ahead of it, as there are characters waiting to arrive until at least December of this year.
