Hogwarts Legacy is full of secrets to discover and puzzles to solve. As you progress through the game, you will discover various Trials of Merlin and treasure chests, each of which has a mystery for you to solve. Solve the puzzle and you will get a valuable treasure. One such treasure chest can be found near Lower Hogsmeade and can be a bit confusing to solve. This guide will show you how to open and solve the Lower Hogsfield Treasure Chest in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Open Hogsfield Lower Treasure Chest in Hogwarts Legacy
The Lower Hogsfield Treasure Vault is located south of Hogwarts. Once you reach the village of Lower Hogsfield, continue south. along the road, then head east. This should lead you to where the safe is hidden. This treasure chest is also close to Merlin’s trial.
Once you reach the Treasure Vault, you’ll see the entrance is blocked by a decent number of moving pillars. These pillars can slide to allow you access to the vault as long as you perform the correct action. Go left of the entrance and use Revelio. You should see a handful on a rock nearby. Use Accio on the handle and he’ll pull a rock out of the rock.
Go back to the safe and you will see that it is now open and you can enter.
How to solve the Lower Hogsfield Treasure Vault puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy
Now that you are inside the vault, you will need to solve the puzzle in order to access the treasure. However, the room appears to be empty when you enter. Look to the top right of the room and you’ll see a block on a ledge above the statue. This block is needed to get the treasure. If you have unlocked WIngardium Leviosa, it makes the puzzle easier. Otherwise, you can use Accio to get the block.
As the block approaches the ground, you will see the ground move. Use Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to move the block to the other end of the floor away from the entrance. The ground will crumble and reveal the treasure chest for you to grab. Drop the block on the ground wherever you want so you can grab the chest and get out.
