What to do when Atomic Heart keeps collapsing

If Atomic Heart keeps crashing while trying to play it, we recommend that you first completely quit all other programs or applications running on your system. On PC, open Task Manager and end the task on everything else. Another thing to consider is doing a hard reset. It sounds cliché, but a reboot can help fix these issues frequently.

If you’re still having issues after doing this, be sure to check the PC system requirements for the game to see if you have the correct hardware. While you’re watching this, also be sure to check your graphics driver for any updates.

Apparently, these issues can also be related to the implementation of Flawless Widescreen. If this option is enabled, please try playing the game without it until a future update can fix these initial issues. At the very least, disable the Scan Repair option in the Seamless Widescreen settings.

If you’re pretty sure you have the right hardware, it’s time to look at the game itself. Be sure to check for updates, and if not, have the launcher check the installation for corrupted files. As a last resort, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, even if it takes a while to download.
