How to get to the Sons of the Forest Raft
The raft is located on the west side of the map, which means you’re ready for a long journey. Depending on where you start on the map, you may encounter ruthless cannibals who will take you down before you can reach the raft. So be sure to gather the essentials like food and weapons before you start your journey. Once done, you need to head to the West Rim. From there, when you look towards the ocean, you will see a small orange raft floating.

Now, while you don’t have to worry about cannibals or mutants in the water, there will be sharks. These sharks will start attacking you as soon as you approach the raft, so it’s important to fill up your health bar before swimming. This is because a single hit from the shark can deplete a large chunk of your health.
Once you’ve made sure your health bar is completely full, swim to the raft and head inside. You will find a lot of equipment there, including the pistol. This is one of the best weapons to use in the game, as it allows you to take out cannibals with a single headshot. You can also upgrade it with accessories such as Rail and Laser Sight. Also, be sure to pick up the corpse’s GPS locator. This can be used to mark important points on the map.
