Beckley’s Beast is a rare albino wolf that you will encounter during the Unsolved: Death and Taxidermy quest. Beckley’s Beast lives in a cave in the southwest region of the map near Hornwright Air Purifier Site #04. You can find this Cryptid later in the same place all the time, making it easier to locate.

How to find the Flatwoods monster in Fallout 76

The Flatwoods Monster is an alien creature that floats through the woods at night and can be easily seen due to its purple glow. There are a few different variations of the Flatwoods monster and none of them have a fixed spawn location. It is possible to encounter a Flatwoods monster in the following areas:

  • Can spawn at the end of the Campfire Tales event
  • Possible encounter during the Queen of the Hunt daily quest
  • Possible encounter during the daily quest Making Sacrifices
  • Each location on the map has a 2.5% chance of spawning a Flatwoods monster

A lab experiment gone wrong, the legendary Grafton Monster was brought to life through testing at West Tek. There are three different variations of the Grafton monster you can find in Appalachia, with Standard being the most common. The following areas are where you can find the Grafton monster:

  • There will always be one in Charleston Trainyard
  • One can be found south of Hemlock Holes.
  • One of them will appear during the Grafton Day event in Grafton.
  • It changed to appear during the Queen of the Hunt daily quest.
  • An alpha variant has a chance to appear as a Project Paradise event boss

How to find a mega sloth in Fallout 76

Even though it may not look like it, mega sloths are considered cryptids in Fallout 76. These large creatures are slow-moving and can be found in certain regions. You can find mega sloths in the following places:

  • Up to three can be found southeast of the Southern Belle Motel.
  • One can spawn near the town of Tanagra
  • One can appear in Treetops
  • Can spawn near Camp Venture

How to find Mothman in Fallout 76

Similar to the Monster of Flatwoods, the Mothman is one of the most iconic Cryptids in Fallout 76. The Mothman is so popular that there are cultists who revere the creature. Mothman can spawn in several areas of the map, including:

  • There is a 2.5% chance that the Mothman will spawn upon reaching one of the markers on the map.
  • The Mothman has a chance to spawn at any Mothman Cult location on the map in the following areas:
    • Lucky Hole mine
    • Blake’s Offering
    • Ingram Manor

One of the scariest Cryptids is the fearsome Sheepsquatch. This huge enemy can easily knock your character down if you’re not careful. With an appearance resembling a horned Deathclaw, the Sheepsquatch is one to be feared. You can find them in the following areas:

  • Up to two Sheepsquatch will spawn during the Free Range event
  • One will spawn as a boss during the Primal Cuts event.
  • An Alpha Sheepsquatch can appear as a boss during the Project Paradise event
  • One can appear as a random encounter in the following areas:
    • Rocío de Sol grove next to the cove
    • North Monorail Elevator

The Snallygaster is another formidable cryptid enemy with multiple spawn locations. This creature can attack you from a distance and easily kill your character if you are not careful. Check the following areas for Snallygasters:

  • Two will always appear in Charleston
  • Up to six can spawn in the flooded train yard
  • Up to four can spawn in Kiddie Corner Cabins
