The Honkai Star Rail release date is set for April 26 on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, iOS and Android devices. The last closed beta of the turn-based RPG took place on February 10 and ended on March 24.
Honkai: History of the Star Rail
You play as the Trailblazer, a faction that crosses the universe aboard a huge train called the Astral Express, exploring space stations and different worlds. Find companions along the way, as well as plenty of enemies. Hoyoverse recently launched a pre-boarding special to showcase upcoming features.
The story begins when a power is implanted in the Trailblazer that gives them the ability to destroy worlds. To find out more, they board the Astral Express seeking answers from the many friends and foes along the way.
Honkai: Star Rail Characters
March 7
Described as cheerful, lively and whimsical. She was originally frozen inside a giant block of ice floating in space and was freed by the crew aboard the Astral Express. She has lost her memories, but she is a happy and lucky character and a cheerleader for the team: her name commemorates the day she woke up from her deep sleep.

Also known as the Cold Young Dragon, Dan Heng is in charge of the crew’s strategy and plans, keeping March 7 grounded. Described as a trustworthy friend, there are rumors that someone is after him, but he now works as a biologist on the Astral Express.
Himeko
A scientist who repaired the Astral Express and follows the path of Lore and wields the element of fire. He is a crew member on the Express and operates as a navigator.
Bump
A member of the Astral Express crew and the former leader of Anti-Entropy, saving Earth from annihilation. He is described as wise and sophisticated.
Game Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail features a party system that lets you control up to four unique characters. While we haven’t seen much of the combat yet, the closed beta gave us an idea of what to expect. For those who play Genshin Impact, the style, characters, and UI will look quite familiar, but Honkai Star Rail adds the traditional turn-based element to this RPG.
The game is an open world and features lots of exploration and strategy will be applied to every fight like other Hoyoverse games. All characters also follow a path, with Aeons presiding over each: god-like beings, similar to the Archons of Genshin Impact, who can use the energy of the path, but can never deviate from it. Each character also has different weapons and a type of element such as lightning, fire, wind, physical, ice, quantum or imaginary.
