Bloober Team and Anshar Studios released the first Layers of Fear game. The 11-minute sequence features new mechanics and visual enhancements for the psychedelic horror game.

Some time ago, the studio Bloober Team announced that it would fight for the title of world leader in terror. However, to put this ambitious plan into practice, the right tools are needed, in this case video games.

One of the productions that has a chance to contribute significantly to the developers’ international success is the upcoming Layers of Fear (recently without the second “s” in the title). The psychedelic horror developed in collaboration between Bloober Team and Anshar Studios has just received its first gameplay.

The material looks very good. This is mainly due to the developers’ use of Unreal Engine 5, using Lumen and ray tracing technologies.

Although we won’t see any terrifying creatures in the video, the gameplay, with its lights and atmospheric soundtrack (I recommend watching it with headphones) is stunning.

Recall that Layers of Fear is the third installment in the series released in 2016. Interestingly, the set with the game includes the two previous parts of the seriesas well as the Inheritance DLC for the first game and the new The Final Note DLC. The game will be released in June.this year and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
