Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will receive its final update today. There update 1.7.0 of the title it will only include some minor bugfixesand it’s essentially a final farewell to the second-highest-grossing title in Ubisoft’s history.

Released in 2020, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has proven to be an incredibly popular title, even winning a Grammy earlier this year. Its latest content update was released in December 2022, so it seemed like fans had known for a long time that our Viking adventure would soon be behind us.

Undoubtedly, Ubisoft has big plans for Assassin’s Creed, even if it says goodbye to the Norse saga of Eivor. This year we should see the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which aims to take the franchise back to its roots by ditching the open world and focusing more on stealth and strategy.

We will also have Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, Codename Jade and Codename Hexe, which will give us a lot of Assassin’s Creed content in the future.
