Gods Unchained is entering its first public pre-alpha for its new mobile client. Starting February 24, 2023, guest players can try Gods Unchained on their Android device and provide feedback to help the team fix bugs and improve the experience.
The web3 space is reaching out to mobile gamers on both sides. Some web3 games are moving to mobile like Gods Unchained, while other existing mobile games are integrating NFTs and blockchain tokens.
This first mobile alpha test of Gods Unchained opens first to those of the chosen Council of Mortals and those with access to Mount Olympus (access to Mount Olympus is restricted to players with large collections of GU cards). Access to the mobile pre-alpha for these people opens on February 24, while others can join on February 28. Everyone who played in February is lucky enough to receive an invite.
Guests will receive a download link along with instructions. Check your mailbox! This pre-alpha test lasts for a month, until March 22. The Gods Unchained team is asking all participants to leave their feedback in a special Discord mobile alpha chat.
This first test is also Android only. An iOS version will be available in the future.
The mobile version of Gods Unchained is fully compatible and connected with the desktop version. It should have the same gameplay functionality. For now, that’s just the actual game. Deckbuilding, The Forge, Star Store, and other client features are not yet available on mobile. The alpha runs on the mainnet, so all matches played will reflect in your game account.

What is Gods Unchained?
Gods Unchained is a free collectible card game. Built on the Ethereum blockchain, Gods Unchained uses the Immutable X layer 2 solution for gasless trading. Players retain full ownership of their cards. Players can earn “Core” digital cards by playing the game. When a player has two identical Core cards, they can turn them into a blockchain-based card. This card is then negotiable on the markets.
Gods Unchained offers various play and earning opportunities. Players earn cards as active players, earn packs while participating in weekend tournaments, and earn GODS tokens by playing daily.
With several expansions under its belt, Gods Unchained offers a wide variety of cards for different playstyles. Gods Unchained currently sells packs for Mortal Judgment. Players can buy and open packs on the official website. Secondary sales are available on the Immutable X market and Token Trove.
