Developer Ironmace announces Dark and Darker’s next playtest date for April, as the team plans to continue their huge success on Steam with “some pretty substantial additions” for their upcoming test period. The dungeon-crawling fantasy RPG has exceeded expectations by attracting over 100,000 concurrent Dark and Darker players throughout the Steam Next Fest demo period, and developer Ironmace is looking to build on its massive success.

The team says the recent playtest, which was expanded after its great success, “gave us a lot of clues on how to proceed with development.” He notes that additional questions have been raised within the team, and as such, another playtest is planned before the game’s Early Access launch.

The team adds, “We’re looking forward to testing some fairly substantial additions for this playtest,” but notes that because of this, it will take a bit more development time to prepare before players can put the game on. hand on the game. The next Dark and Darker test will take place from April 14-19.
