Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, the 4v1 action video game created by IllFonic, will release the game’s second DLC on April 20, 2023. This FREE DLC is in addition to the base game, which is PEGI 12 rated and available on PC/Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for €39.99.
Have you ever dreamed of confronting a drooling Class VII interdimensional entity? Well, you have it! But then again, have you ever wanted to be the one with the power to summon ultimate fury? This DLC gives fans the chance to do both, as well as experience new minions, improved AI, and an all-new map. This DLC is sure to keep fans playing well into the Witching Hour.
DLC Key Features:
- New map, The courthouse. Strange activity has been reported in the courthouse, making it difficult to conduct legal proceedings. Decades of dark practices and paranormal contact have turned the courthouse into a swarm of ghosts. In this new map, hallways, offices, and courtrooms connect to each other to form a single space.
- New type of ghost. Ghost-type possessor. Its 3 variants: Scuttle, Hellion, and the fearsome Terror Sentinel, which we saw in the original film, and which give this ghost a unique gameplay. Use his unique abilities and possession ability to take control of civilians and ghost hunters.
- New enemy managed by AI: The executioners. From the depths of the ghost realm, the scoundrels come to your aid! Summoned by Tobin, these helpful little beings help the ghost haunt the building and terrorize the humans present. Ghostbusters would do well to focus on taking out those spectral minions, as the Ghost can use the rifts to spawn more of them.
- New ability: Minion Traps. These are a special type of minions that the ghost can hide in the ground or inside objects that will jump on the ghost hunter when they activate their stasis field.
- Cosmetics, gear, and more customization for Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters cosmetics inspired by the Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon series have arrived. Players will be able to unlock them by completing various side quests and contracts. The team also has new shoes, new skirts and kilts, and various makeup styles. Now the logos of the t-shirts can also be worn on the corresponding tops.
- General improvements. Updated gear upgrade menu, Ghostbots/Ghostbusters improvements, various bug fixes, game balance, etc. To further optimize the overall experience.
Remember that IllFonic plans to release free DLCs of this type each quarter of 2023, in addition to continuous patches to improve the daily lives of Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed players.
