For April Fool’s Day, HoYoVerse released images and short films of Genshin Impact characters as cats. The shape of the cat a long time ago, Keqing, shinobuthere Hobo everyone has their own welcome art, with quotes. Of course, since they are cats, all they can say is “meow”.

Each of the cats still retains key elements of their design. Keqing still wears her hair accessory and stands near a ball of fried shrimp, which is her favorite food. The wanderer’s hat is also unmistakable. There are also animated versions of the presentation arts, which appear in Live 2D. You can see April Fool’s Day videos in the Impacto Genshin YouTube channel or your TikTok account.
There is also a “gift” of cats.

This isn’t the first time the HoYoVerse has turned Genshin Impact characters into animals, either. For HoYoFair 2022, the Grinch studio submitted a video to the Genshin Impact 2nd Anniversary Special Live Stream. All non-Archon characters except the Traveler appeared as various animals such as foxes, rabbits, and (of course) cats.
The next version of Genshin Impact is version 3.6, and it will be released on April 12, 2023. Its main story will revolve around Akademiya, and Archon Quest will further explore the story of Khaenri’ah and Sumeru. Version 3.6 will also be the playable debut of Baizhu and Kaveh.
