youOnce again, at MARCA Gaming we wanted to offer you a compilation of all the games that are free and/or included in the very diverse payment services of the main consoles and game platforms on the market. In other words, the new titles that will be added to PlayStation Plus, Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games and Amazon Prime Gaming.

All this taking into account that many of them will only be available temporarily and that some services announce their games sequentially, so not everyone who will be available to their users has been confirmed. The second shipment usually arrives in the third week of the monthwhile in Epic it is updated every Thursday.

Free games for PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) in April 2023

As always, we promote the concept of “free” taking into account that the service is indeed paid, but its main functionality is to provide us with Internet access through our console to play with other users. If we put that aside, free titles that were added to the PS Plus catalog during the fourth month of the year are:

  • Meet your maker
  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure
  • iron tails

Undoubtedly, the most striking of all is sackboy, because it is the most famous. In the same way, iron tails a very remarkable indie with a very interesting story and mechanics. Despite all this, it is true that this month is a little weaker compared to the others, since there is no “great” video game that breaks the piggy bank.

Similarly, and as usual month after month, new exclusive content packs have been added for PS+ users. These are:

  • Fortnite – Chilling Mystery Gear Pack
  • Fall Guys: PlayStationPlus Musical Travesuras Pack
  • Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 – Battle Pack (Crimson Path)
  • Apex Legends: PlayStation Plus Game Bundle
  • Brawlhalla – Bonus Pack 8

Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass

As with PlayStation, the dynamic of “free games” is understood in the same way with Xbox. Especially with Games With Gold, since in Games Pass we pay (literally) to have access to new games every month. Anyway, we’ve split the two, highlighting another bad month for Live Gold. The service, very indented, offers almost nothing interesting, even if it can always be purchased as a pack with Game Pass and EA Play. That being said, the Gold games are:

  • Out of Space: Sofa Edition
  • Peaky Blinders: Brain

Regarding Game Pass, each of the games that will arrive on the service during the month of April has not yet been confirmed, but the first ones that will land on its various platforms have been specified. We emphasize GhostWire: Tokyo, an authentic game which will be released in an exclusive way on Xbox after its exclusive launch (on consoles) on PlayStation.

  • Loop Hero is now available on PC and console
  • Iron Brigade arrives April 6 on console and cloud
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo Coming April 12 to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud
  • NHL 23 (EA Play) arrives April 13 on consoles
  • Minecraft Legends will arrive April 18 on console, PC and cloud

On the other hand, the video games that will leave the Microsoft service as of April 15 are:

  • Life is Strange: True Colors in cloud, console and PC
  • Moonglow Bay on cloud, console and PC
  • Panzer Corps II in CP
  • Rainbow Six Extraction in cloud, console and PC
  • The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk on cloud, console and PC
  • The Long Dark on cloud, console and PC
  • The Riftbreaker on cloud, console and PC

Amazon Prime Gaming

Amazon is another of the companies that add games every month. It is the one that comes closest to the concept of “free”, since it is an add-on to their Amazon Prime paid subscription service. Normally, games are not the main focus of this service, which is why we can say that they are a little closer to these singularities. Anyway, the new games that will be added are:

  • April 6 Wolfenstein: The New Order (code GOG)
  • April 6 Ninja Commando (Amazon Games app)
  • April 6 Art of Fighting 3 (Amazon Games app)
  • April 6 The Beast Within (code GOG)
  • April 13 Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition (Amazon Games app)
  • April 13 Crossed Swords (Amazon Games app)
  • April 13 Ghost Pilots (Amazon Games App)
  • April 20 Beholder 2 (Amazon Games app)
  • April 20 Terraformers (Amazon Games app)
  • April 20 Metal Slug 4 (Amazon Games app)
  • April 20 Ninja Masters (Amazon Games app)
  • April 27 In Search of Aliens (Legacy Games Code)
  • April 27 Grime (Amazon Games app)
  • April 27 Sengoku (Amazon Games app)
  • April 27 Magician Lord (Amazon Games app)

epic games

We are done with Epic Games and, on this occasion, we can talk about free games during the month of April without any conditions or additional payments, beyond having an Epic account and the app downloaded on PC. That being said, we know which are the first four games coming or already available:

  • The Silent Age, available until April 6 at 5 p.m.
  • Tunche, available until April 6 at 5 p.m.
  • Blazing Sails, available from April 6 at 5:00 p.m. to April 13 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Dying Light: Enhanced Edition, available from April 6 at 5:00 p.m. to April 13 at 5:00 p.m.
